Accessibility: our projects and network

For whom and with whom we work in an accessible manner

We have been working on accessibility at DRIVE for quite some time: in 2017, we were finally able to tackle this important issue with the relaunch of the Paritätische Niedersachsen website! This was followed in 2019 by the relaunch of the Paritätische Jugendwerk website, which took over the functions.

With the relaunch of the BKK Landesverband Süd website, we were able to implement extensive functions in accordance with the BITV test steps – more on this soon on our project pages.

The BITV test steps and numerous tools are extremely helpful in analysis and implementation. However, these alone are not enough, as the requirements are constantly changing. DRIVE therefore has partners in its network who support us with analysis, the latest developments, and testing.

These include:

  • the “Büro für Leichte Sprache” (Office for Easy Language) of Lebenshilfe Bremen
  • the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired of Lower Saxony
  • our customer, Paritätische Niedersachsen, also as a partner with whom we can work in exchange or in workshops with the target group
  • a partner in the field of video, who produces in-house and also has accessibility in their portfolio

We have already carried out an analysis for one of our customers and were very pleased with their feedback:

“Your analysis provided us with a good basis for familiarizing ourselves with the topic of accessibility. The reference to the BITV test steps was particularly valuable.”

We currently have several projects where accessibility is important and is now being implemented by us. It is therefore part of our daily work, and we always keep track of current changes to regulations in our strategy. If you have any further questions or require further information about our expertise in accessibility, please do not hesitate to contact our strategy team!
