TecDoc development for automotive

04/19: Identifying the right spare parts for vehicles is crucial in the automotive trade. The TecDoc system requires manufacturers of cars, trucks, commercial vehicles, and motorcycles to compile a structured, complete, and up-to-date collection of their data and make it available to parts dealers, automotive workshops, and suppliers so that they can offer their products. This is based on the vehicle master data developed by TecDoc with standardized vehicle descriptions, the leading vehicle identification system in Europe.

DRIVE works with TecDoc

DRIVE has been working with the TecDoc system, TecDoc data, and criteria for many years. We have developed new data management systems based on Java and PHP that are linked to TecDoc. With the help of DRIVE's systems, automotive parts manufacturers can create and maintain their data, export it to TecDoc regularly and in accordance with TecDoc criteria, and import TecDoc data deliveries. They can also use this basis to produce their extensive parts catalogs in digital and print form.
