What “IT macht Schule” is all about

"... In these very special times, the digitalization of companies and their business processes is being driven forward at full speed. The demand for IT is therefore constantly increasing, and with it the demand for IT specialists. In the long term, this high demand can only be met by one strategy: recruiting young IT talent at an early stage!

With “IT macht Schule,” we are committed to doing just that: we want to work together to promote IT career orientation in schools in order to show young people the various career opportunities in IT and get them excited about the IT industry. ..."

About the beginnings

“... ”IT macht Schule" started in 2017 as a small project in the Hanover region. The goal at the time was to connect 10 companies and 7 schools for internships. Today, we have long since surpassed that goal! At the beginning of October, we reached 80 partner companies – and we have also made significant gains with schools. ..."
