Advanced Enterprise Multi-Site Clinical Infrastructure and Accessible UX Design for Four Rehabilitation Centers
On behalf of the Deutsche Rentenversicherung (DRV) Braunschweig-Hannover, DRIVE served as the digital lead partner to completely reconceptualize, visually transform, and technologically elevate the web ecosystem of its four specialized rehabilitation clinics onto a resilient, future-proof enterprise scale. The previously decentralized, legacy web assets of the individual clinics were entirely eliminated. The core operational highlight of this digital transformation lies in a highly streamlined system architecture: DRIVE consolidated all four individual clinic websites into a single, centrally managed TYPO3 enterprise instance. This infrastructure significantly reduces administrative overhead and IT maintenance costs while allowing each medical facility to highlight its individual clinical expertise and specialization.
The strategic foundation relied on a thoughtful evolution of the established corporate design guidelines for digital environments. The user interface merges flawless, responsive navigation layout with strict web accessibility compliance (matching international WCAG and national BITV/BFSG standards). A major success factor was the comprehensive in-house media asset production managed by DRIVE: our creative team conceptualized, scheduled, and executed professional on-site photo shoots directly at the various rehabilitation centers. These authentic, premium visual assets provide patients, families, referring physicians, and social services with clear spatial and thematic orientation, establishing immediate brand trust and an inviting, reassuring online atmosphere from the very first interaction. The 360-degree content engineering was rounded out by deep data-driven search engine optimization (SEO), complete text editing, and the graphic development of targeted print materials to secure cross-media consistency.
