How do you bring time-honored, cutting-edge research into the modern digital age? DRIVE completely revamped the entire website for the Bavarian Academy of Sciences (BAdW) from the ground up.
As the lead partner for technology and creativity, we refined the visual language used in the core messaging, thereby establishing a completely new, sophisticated visual identity. The entire portal was migrated to a state-of-the-art, future-proof TYPO3 infrastructure—including complex and sophisticated databases and a thematically diverse, international media library. Thanks to numerous new service features and innovative media capabilities, all academic departments and complex research content are now presented in a high-quality, accessible, and multimedia-rich format. The result: a prestigious, internationally competitive website that brings scientific excellence to life digitally.
