Award ceremony of the German Design Award 2023 in Frankfurt

Off to Frankfurt to collect the award!

Last weekend, the German Design Award 2023 was presented at the Forum of Messe Frankfurt. Drive won the award for the relaunch of the framework layout and the website of the Creative Europe Desk CULTURE in the category "Excellent Communications Design - Web"!
Together with our clients, we received the awards on-site and had ourselves stylishly photographed.

Last weekend, the German Design Award 2023 was presented at the Forum at Messe Frankfurt. Drive won the award in the “Excellent Communications Design” – Web category for the relaunch of the Creative Europe Desk KULTUR’s framework layout and website!
Together with our clients, we accepted the awards on site and posed for some stylish photos.

The ceremony was well organized, and light refreshments and non-alcoholic beverages were provided. The show, which featured the presentation of the Gold Awards and the honors for the winners of “Personality of the Year,” “German Design Award – Newcomer,” and the “Public Choice Award,” highlighted the international significance of this German award. Each year, the German Design Award’s high-caliber international jury selects the winners from among 2,400 submissions from 158 countries. And the awards were also picked up by recipients from Japan and Sweden, among others.

The German Design Award’s “Special Mention” is awarded for remarkable design achievements. Winners whose work stands out due to a unique approach or specific aspect can distinguish themselves from the competition with this seal of quality.

The winners’ works will be on display in a special exhibition at the Museum of Applied Arts in Frankfurt from February 4–19, 2023. This public exhibition impressively showcases all the groundbreaking projects of our time. Feel free to check it out—learn more at www.museumangewandtekunst.de

The Creative Europe Desk CULTURE is the national contact point for EU cultural funding and provides advice specifically on the EU’s Creative Europe CULTURE funding program. The project serves as a service provider and intermediary between the European Commission and the German cultural and creative sectors. The new website highlights this service, provides a clear overview of the various funding opportunities, and features a design that appeals to the creative target audience of CED KULTUR—while also being accessible to all.
