Four decades ago, in 1984, the Kunstverein Wunstorf was founded by a group of passionate art lovers. Their goal: to create a place where art and culture in the region could be promoted and celebrated. They succeeded, and since then the art association has become a central part of cultural life in Wunstorf. DRIVE has been supporting and accompanying the art association for almost 20 years now.

40 years of the Wunstorf Kunstverein

From small and refined to truly top-class
From humble beginnings with small but exquisite exhibitions, the art association has steadily developed. Since 1987, the art association has been organizing and offering a diverse program with high-quality art exhibitions, inspiring workshops, and exciting lectures. An important focus is the promotion of local artists. The art association also regularly presents artists from other regions.

Art wants to live. About people's dedication, love, and passion
Thanks to the tireless efforts of the members of the art association and the support of the town of Wunstorf and its sponsors, the art association has been able to continually provide new impetus and expand its cultural offerings. The Kunstverein Wunstorf can look back with pride on the past 40 years. In order to keep art alive in Wunstorf and beyond for many years to come, it continues to rely on support in every form. Art needs money, friends, clients, and active helpers. And above all, it needs “young talent” in all age groups. DRIVE is on board.

Wunstorf becomes 'Kunstorf' - The art association enriches life
In addition to its diverse exhibition program, the art association invites visitors to excursions to unusual art venues. Over the years, the art association has brought together so many art enthusiasts, made the association known far beyond the city limits, and enriched the cultural life of the city. Wunstorf is now “Kunstorf”—a city where art has a very special meaning.
